Project contributions
Since most of the Islamic books and other audio- visual news files about topics that are of common interest of Muslims are produced or published mostly in either Arabic or English language, the majority of Malawian Muslims cannot read and understand them. For Muslims in Malawi to derive the maximum benefit from Islamic books and video documentaries, there is a need to get some of these books and films translated into local languages (Chiyao and Chichewa).
So far, ABM Productions has produced and/or translated a number movies from either Arabic or English to Chichewa. The movies include
Tsunami,
Dream of Death,
Choona cha Moyo,
kum'funafuna Yesu,
Amayi M'chisilamu and
Chiphunzitso cha Swalah all of which have been reproduced and distributed throughout Malawi and the the neighbouring countries such as Republic of South Africa (RSA).
ABM Productions is a non-profit organization which relies on the little finances that are generated from the DVDs/VCDs that are given out to the public on a subsistence price. As such, we are asking you to contribute whatever money and/or materials that you can and encourage others to do so as well.
